I Saw It!
I FINALLY SAW A MOUNTAIN LION!
After I had a LOAD of fun waiting for my truck's tires to get fixed in Placerville. I made a lovely trek back to the area I was in when I got a flat. I turned a corner with my truck just in time to see the lion disappear into the brush on the side of the road. I was pretty excited. I got to see the mountain lion AND I saw it from where I wanted to see it... The safety of my truck! :)
Otherwise nothing else really happened. Later! :)
I thought I'd throw in some pics for ya all.

And another one for the hell of it. I sometimes camp near here when I'm doing the Placerville sites.

Hey Peanut!
You sure are leading a life of adventure and fun. Miss you. Hope you stop by when you return to Wisconsin. You have some totally great pics to be really proud of.

Hey AHOV,
Today is your last day with the owls! Soo sad! Here are a few words of wisdom for your trip back to WI:
1) Every owl like a hooty call...
2) EBUT: 'I love you from the bottom of my left kidney... which I almost sold for a pair of chacos'.
3) Drunk dialing takes on a whole new meaning when done by a bunch of owl-ers.' Hooty Mo Fo Hoo'!
4) I'm a cheap date... but in a good way. :)
