The Job Scene

I finally got a job that wasn't temporary. I worked for UPS for a couple weeks before Xmas to help out with the holiday rush, but after that... it was back to nothing.

Now, I'm working in the optical center in the Wal-Mart in Rhinelander. Yes, I know. Wal-Mart again. After two months of no work, I can't be choosy. I do have to say, however, the optical center is run VERY differently, it's more professional, AND I get paid more - specially after I get completely trained in.

I'm still fighting with unemployment. There was a mix up on where the unemployment funds were coming from. I sent in a form to get it fixed, but aparently they didn't like something on my form and instead of sending it back to me to do it again. I got nothing. No response. Then a letter stating that I owed them the money they gave me. I called the office and was told to send the form in AGAIN. I just don't want to have to pay them back. They wouldn't get it back anytime soon anyway, but I really can't afford to pay it!

Xmas was nice, but uneventfull as was New Years. Nothing else is new! :)
